The Penn Central unit had its hand rails damged last year when it hit a car in Illinois.

You can't have anything nice anymore. Looks like it has been in the parking lot at WalMart.

They're locomotives, not cars. They are huge machines that work in very unforgiving environments. Things are going to get damaged and these heritage units aren't immune to it just because they have a special coat of paint. At least it wasn't completely trashed.

mdurdan, where was your picture taken, Allentown? According to the computer as of 4:00 PM today it's still in Allentown. On a side note, the DL&W unit is in Conway.

Originally you said it derailed in Altoona on 1/10/13, but according to the computer the last time it was in Altoona was 1/9/13 at 14:56 on train 10G. Did this side swipe actually happen in Allentown?

you know this is totally unrealistic NS has some explaining trains dont get damaged u get a little note saying player train derailed and then u exit and try again
