Your Best Photo

Alright, let's see your best photograph. It would be nice to get some great imagery up in here.

Here's my contribution. Taken on July 1st, 2011. Canada Day on the Prairie Dog Central Railway. Camera is an older Nikon D70S with Nikon Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm DX Lens.

An EB manifest exiting the Carlin Tunnels in Nevada on the old WP tracks. It took three weeks before I was able to catch and EB. Now to get a WB on the old SP tracks.

Can we share a few favorite photos? Cause I can't decide on a single "best" one. Here is one my favorite recent shots. Wisconsin & Southern's business train waits on CN's Duplainville siding for a southbound.

Snow falls on the early morning Z-train as it sits in the south end of Butler Yard.

Well dang Chessie, just had to go and post some awesome NS stuff. Digging the tilted shot big time! Now shoot, I feel like puttin' a few up. Railfanning has been taking a lot of Railworks time as of late, so might as well post some of the stuff that turned out well.

A CN northbound is met by the local job as the morning starts to creep into the eastern sky. I like that you can see the headlights, as well as the EOT flashes from the local. No idea why this unit has different colored number boards.

A CP manifest rolls down the "Wash" track into Milwaukee's Muskego Yard.

A CP Manifest sits on the east end of Muskego Yard while the air builds up. Just before dawn, no tripod, just a little 18-55mm, some hipsters with purple lighting in their loft. Pure luck.

Let's get this thread a rollin' people!

Sweet shots. Been railfanning more myself. That and a hard drive explosion keeping me from Railworks.

You folks feel free to use images larger than 1024 wide.
See this thread for more info.

I could use some new images for my desktop, but 1024 is too small. *!!wink!!*
