I'm liking this, is it just switzerland doing this?

quick google earth question if anyone knows? is there a way to "borrow" the 3d buildings from GE?

just bought RWdecal and trying to get to grips with it, got a long way to go though as i dont seem to get the scale correct for editing, apart from my amatuer skills i just thought while using it "shame theres no plug-in for pinching the buildings while it does its scan" lol

I see just trains are doing a pack for my area (YAY!!!) !*YAAA*! but when its released i would like to update it with correct landmarks as a bridge was missing I emailed them to ask why one of the bridges were missing they got back saying their info on my town was pre google earth which is a fair answer, however im sure that all the bridges (3 in total) were there before i was even born lol, I mean no disrespect to the creators, far from it, I look forward to having a go on my own back yard :D I just wanted to see if i can change it afterwards, hopefully by then i can become better at using these tools and contribute something in the future

Google does have 3D in their maps (thus all the requests to port their SU warehouse to 3DC).

Hmm... must admit mostly what GE tends to do for me is crash, but I also guess I'm not looking in the right places then. And ofc it uses DEM data, dunno what i was thinking.
