The Great Locomotive Chase Festival

I'm not sure why it's held in October, as the Chase was in April, but the Locomotive Chase Festival is going on in Adairsville, GA this weekend. Crafts, rides, great food, rednecks, live music (Elvis was there tonight) and most importantly, lots of trains! The engineers are under slow orders as they make their way through town, just in case some of the bolder (drunker) festival-goers decide to get a little to close to the tracks. Saw nine trains in the course of 4 hours - pretty busy for this line, this time of day.

Shame they don't pull The General out and run her up there. That would be cool.
My wife and I have some friends in from out of state this weekend. That would be something to do on our way back from Tennessee.

Looks to me that they need to tweak the superelevation values down a bit for that porta-potty in shot 1! !*roll-laugh*!
