Hello! On September 17, I went to CN Symington yard thanks to my friend, and was given the chance to take a cab ride of a CN SD70M-2. This gave me good reference for future soundpacks. I will post pictures soon, and will leave this here:

Very nice, thanks for sharing!

Did it smell as new as it looked?

When I started watching, what drew my eye first was the side view mirror... now I wish we had them in game.

Thanks for sharing. !!*ok*!!

Well, the SD70M-2 and C40-8CW (there was one of those in tow) both had been recently painted. I say recently because the Dash 8 had some rusty water marks coming down from the radiator. As for the mirrors, I was thinking the same thing!
Anyway here are some pictures from that day (https://picasaweb.google.com/117026230424608009389/SymingtonYard170911 for the whole album):

A GMD1 hides itself near the engineshops.

Wheel bearings and cap.

A slug rounds the corner back to the yard on the turn-a-round.

SD70M-2 8913 and ES44DC 2301 round the corner.

This is the mentioned C40-8CW, number 2192. This unit trailed, engine off, behind our SD70M-2.

Well, this my ride. *!!wink!!*

What's this? A C40-8M?

My view of the road. I got to "be the conductor" the entire trip, which by the way went about a half-mile then reversed.

Gotta love those Dash 9's with Canadian Safety Cabs!

Overall, this was a great trip all together, even though me and my friend were waiting 3 and a half hours to get on. Once on though, it was like nothing I have ever experienced. It was really quite rough over that rarely used portion of line between CP Emerson and CN Redditt/Symington Yard. The cab feels really high off the ground, and in the video, I tried to show the movement of the SD70M-2's Isolated Cab design. You can barely see it jiggle around a bit in the video.
Can't wait for the next 2 years of school to be done to go on to conductor college! !!*ok*!!
