This is what happens when rail isn't properly heated and stressed. Also the 100+ degree temps in planes haven't helped...

I think Dad (track inspector) would have written this up on his report!! Getting the MOW crew out there to fix it could be another story though, lol. He always fought with them over what needed fixed and what didn't... prolly not much argument in this case though, LOL. (Gawd, I've never seen worse heat-buckling!)

Anyone seen anything on a grain train that wrecked into a flooded river this weekend in southern MN? BNSF, I think. My friends on their "tour of America" drove by the mess yesterday. No one killed I heard.
