But no (c) or (tm) sign?

New loco, cute elastic horn bell covers and a plastic 'shower cap' over the exhaust stack ;-)

I preferred the one which looked like a boxcar.

I wonder if the company sends a worker up on the roof of the loco to retrieves the covers, or if they just fire her up and blast the horn? !!*ok*!! !*YAAA*!

The blue horn covers are to keep debris and snow out the horn so it doesn't get fouled. The exhaust is covered to keep water out of the turbo. You'll see the exhaust covered on stored and new locomotives. The red exhaust cover will be removed before locomotive is started and the blue horn covers will remain until they dry rot off.

Difficult to make out if it is a new loco or an overhauled one.

The high exhaust stack suggest an overhauled older GE, pre-GEVO, so perhaps an AC4400?
