So The Galaxy Isn't So Far After All...

After the flaming dumpster fire that was The Last Jedi, I really have no interest in seeing new Star Wars stories. However, over at a fanboy yak page there is an article about a new TV series in development. What is interesting are a few photos of a set under construction, and in the background are a few Imperial transports of familiar design.

Anybody know where this is? The whole story and more photos,

As fun as Star Wars is. No series can run on forever. So many movies and TV shows try to make as many seasons as they can (not going to name names here) and after a while, the original story gets lost and the seasons just become desperate attempts to squeeze more money out of the idea.

Star Wars had it's time, and watching the original 6 in my opinion is still more enjoyable than most of the newer movies and knockoffs.

Needless to say I don't have high hopes for Star Wars becoming a TV series now, but time will tell.

But man those imperial transports look almost real! That's gotta be some of the best CGI we've seen in a while... !*roll-laugh*!

There is an electric light railway running behind that wall of stacked containers, so a research into studio backlots that face the BNSF and have a light rail line crossing overhead on Google Earth should provide the answer.

There shouldn't be too many electric light rail systems in California, so that will limit your search considerably.

Might be San Diego, as BNSF seems to keep a few of the GP60Ms there.

I also might be the only one here who actually liked SW:TLJ...
