Charges reinstated against Amtrak engineer in Philadelphia crash

Unread postby JohnS » Tue Feb 06, 2018 4:25 pm

A new judge is charging him stating the first judge was in error and there was plenty of evidence. Just leave the guy alone at this point. He has to go everyday already remembering what happened.

What the hell do you mean by "error and plenty of evidence?" What evidence are you talking about and what evidence do you have that results in criminal intent? Come on man, please rethink that because I don't know what you have against this poor man. You have to understand that accidents happen and there is no way we can prevent ALL accidents. They happen and we learn from and we can't always find the bad guy. Come on, !*not-ok*!

It's a quote from the article. Read it before blasting me. If you even read what I wrote I said they need to leave him alone so get off my back it's all in the article and that's what I quoted. I even stated "THE JUDGE IS STATING THE FIRST JUDGE WAS IN ERROR" They are words from the article not my own.

I want no trouble as I'm stating my opinion on this. I do agree that they should leave him alone because it's getting ridiculous at this point. Like it's almost three years and people are not over this. They always want to find a blame and I believe the charges should remain dropped as I stated before. The justice system these days geez.....

No you weren't you were attacking me for something I didn't even say. They weren't my opinions they were direct quotes. You act like I want to hang the guy.

Well I'm sorry if you took my words the wrong way. I was not intending on attacking you, it's because I've seen your stand on this issue with the Philadelphia crash before and I was enraged when I found out about when the charges were reinstated. I must have read a different article stating the judge added the charges with no say. Why not we settle this and not cause any drama?

You're right. I'm sorry for the jackass statement and have removed it. I agree that this issue with the derailment should be over and done with. The original judge threw it out and that should be it. Weather I agree with the decision or not is not relevant at this point. I think they are bullying him now or trying to make some weird extreme example. Not good
