This video is only about new train games to be released. TSW is listed near the end ...

There hasn't a TS18 been announced, has there?

I think TS 20xx has simply become Train Simulator. DTG did say that they will continue to support Train Simulator as long as the community wants it to, so maybe? I'm not entirely sure about that, but from what DTG has said Train Simulator will probably be supported and updated for a while.

DTG will need to support TS as long as TSW is losing/isn't making money and some cash flow can be generated through TS.

Though I think only through 3rd parties that will supply routes and trains, as DTG needs all its human and financial resources for TSW for the time to come.

Which so far is not a winning play. They best pay serious attention to TS2017 products in case TSW doesn't work out.

I'm kind of worried that DTG might slowly be switching over to TSW and leaving TS20XX to rot. It's getting near the end of August and typically the "big update" happens around mid September, but I haven't heard any mention of TS2018 yet.
