General Code of Operating Rules

Unread postby PapaXpress » Fri Mar 18, 2011 12:09 am

I just found my (cira 1985):

Code: Select all
General Code of Operating Rules

Adopted by:
Union Pacific Sytem
Union Pacific Railroad and
Missouri Pacific Railroad
Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad System
St. Louis Southwestern Ry. Co.

Effective April 28, 1985

Southern Pacific Transportation Co.
Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Ry. Co.

Effective October 28, 1985

Not sure how I would scan the pages in yet, as they are 3"x6" @212 pages, but if anyone is interested in some history I'll see what I can do.

I would be interested. !!*ok*!! But if you have to scan 200+ pages then I would say don't if I'm the only one.

If I only had a scanner I would put up my NORAC Operating Rules 9th Edition (2008) along with some PRR things. *!embar*!

I'm really interested in the UP Code, but also in the others. I'll need it for my route.

The interesting thing is that the codes are for all the railroads listed in that block of text in my first post (it is a direct quote off the cover page).

I'll experiment with the scanner here at work and see if it will accept paper this thin and small.

If I am lucky I my find the WP book. Not sure where it ended up after 2 moves, but it has to be somewhere. I almost gave up looking for my SP book when it dawned on me where I put the box it was in.
