Union Pacific grain @ yermo

I was wondering if anyone here would know the Union Pacific train symbols for grain trains that run over Cajon? I think they have one or had one that came from Yermo and they put the grain in containers. Would anyone know that train symbol? Thanks so much and keep it on the Highrail. !!*ok*!!

Thanks man that was great. I did not see any grain trains over Cajon though. I have watched recent videos of them on Cajon but no one seems to know their symbols.

Try again... search for "grain". There are multiple, loaded and empty grain trains between Barstow and San Bernardino alone. I found quite a few..... GBARSBD, GBARWAT, XSBDBAR, XWATBAR, GCOKSBD, GHRVSBD, GADMWAT, GAXTWAT, GDILWAT, GHERWAT...... many more.... both UP and BNSF.

Well, you didn't say UP only. Have you compared UP and BNSF system maps lately. BNSF has the grain belt pretty well covered, so it would be right to have more BNSF than UP. Most unit grain trains into any out of the LA Basin are usually to the Ports at Long Beach for export. UP runs most of its grain trains over Donner Pass then down the Valley via the Plamdale Cutoff through Cajon Pass into LA. All other traffic would come via Yermo from Ogden/Salt Lake City, UT

You can always just make your own symbol .....

GOGLA10

G - Grain load
OG - Ogden
LA - Los Angeles
10 - 10th day of the month

Or more likely....
