Lots of time to reflect on friends who are not with us anymore.

I'd like to thank each soldier who has served, and is serving this country. But I thank even more, those who paid the ultimate price so that we may live freely under that star-spangled banner.

My boys are in Scouts. On Saturday we went to our local cemetery and planted flags and tidy things up (though the place is very well maintained). Several Packs and Troops showed up to take on the task.
