Well, it didn't exactly derail 'em, but they're out-of-service nonetheless.

Sorry for all the pop-ups/ads on that site, but it had the most complete info. at this time.

Still wish we had SEPTA equipment and routes to run 'em on in TS20xx, even with the defect! *!greengrin!* As you may know, it's one of the busiest commuter rail systems in the U.S.A.

From an updated article: "...Columbus Steel Castings in Ohio manufactured the assembly, but that the parts in question may have been manufactured by a different company altogether. It was unclear Sunday what company made the specific part..."

I may have accidentally beamed up to India. Desperate commuters not only packing into railcars as expected, but also outside between the cars as well. The train did pull out of the station with those idiots hanging on. I wonder how far they got.
