Thanks for this reference. I've looked briefly at both the PDF and Kindle formats, neither of which includes the figures (illustrations). The book is out of copyright and, presumably, Google, which digitized the original text, simply scanned or photographed the pages, so why are the figures missing? Odd.

I downloaded the pdf and the illustrations came out fine, there are several yard diagrams included, not sure what is happening with your copy.

Interesting look into turn of the century railroading, as well as a lot of "not so common" information about railroad ops.
