Texas and Pacific Cannon Ball schedule

My great-grandfather worked for the T&P for 31 years. He ended as engineer of the T&P's Cannon Ball run, on its Rio Grande Division, driving the train between Fort Worth and Baird, Tx.

I believe the Cannon Ball was a daily passenger run. Would anyone here have any idea what his typical weekly work schedule would have been like in the mid 1920s? How many days would he have made the run back and forth?
