first of all Stevens Pass
one of my disappointments is the locomotive is not accurate Puget Sound uses dash 9s while the main locomotive is a GEVO in the route and in Seattle the main loco used are dash 9s. questions however I do have some questions Why doesnt Washington State or the BNSF Seattle sub use the newer gevos instead they use the older locomotive'? And most gevos I see in washington are from CN?
Not to mention how rare sd70s are here.

Does anyone know why there is about a mile of abandoned BNSF well cars around Olympia parallel to interstate 5?

BNSF owns a bazillion GEVOs like every other American Class I railroad. I'm sure you can find them in the Puget Sound area, even more so on Steven's Pass.

Why would BNSF not use their older GEVOs in Washington? They use what they have.

I dont think you live in Washington State....


ES44DC/AC/C4's are super common on the BNSF up there, Aswell As Dash 9's. The locomotive's are accurate.

About the well cars
Why would they store those baretables there cant they just use them to haul 40fts instead?

Plus a noticed a couple BNSF ones with their newh3 swish.logo why would they store those?

Probably because they don't need them. Makes sense, right? Think about it, if there's been a downturn in intermodal traffic and there's spare well cars around, get them out of the way and store them until traffic comes back. Railroads do it all the time, especially with locomotives. Put them in storage til traffic requires them.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Paint doesn't stay the same color it was when the unit rolled out of the paint booth. This is especially true after years of sitting in the sun and weather.

I agree with crimson, every time you look at a UP engine or any loco for that matter the colors are different. Mainly from weathering or if they used a different shade of yellow.

These two are completely different shades of yellow.

Fine can someone at least tell me how to repaint it every time I try to repaint some tiny little speckles of the original color are still there

also sd70mac couplers always stretching and when I put-on brakes the sd700 goes into the loco in front
