So far I've done SSW 819, Frisco 1630, T&P 610, D&RGW 491, SP 745 and T&G 30. I'm doing mostly lesser known steam locomotives restorations or operations. The D&RGW 491 had an especially interesting alloy that was a type of cast iron that only one company had the authorization to create it. It was called Meehanite.
Anyway if you want to check it out go ahead.

This one is a old one:
Canadian Collieries (Dunsmuir) Ltd. #14 Baldwin 1898 4-6-0. Last operated 1960; Purchased 1960 from CC(D)Ltd.
Operated on Vancouver Island. Was assigned to a scrap train with #17. While working the scrap train in 1960, She blew a Stabolt. That stabolt blew out of the firebox and landed in a coal pile behind the fireman (At this time 14 was and still is a Coal Burner). She was placed out of service and the 17 (which survives to this day), Who was in a even worse shape, began to run the scrap trains. My Grandfather owned 10-20% of this locomotive when it was moved to Snoqualmie Washington. He later sold his part of the engine to pay for medical bills racked up by my Grandmother after she gave birth to my dad.
Interesting Locomotive. I think it still has Stevenson Valve Gear, As well as a illegal Chain Operated firebox door (Outlawed in 1911)
Builders Number :15744
