Union Pacific 3300 (the United Way unit) was spotted in the 10th street yard in Denver today (by me) from the Light Rail, on the deadline, heavily vandalized and grafittied to a wonderful new color of the local gangs signs
.So, UP restores a Big Boy, and looks to be scrapping out 3300.
Why can`t the one of a kind units be on an ( special unit, last forever/donation list ) ? I know there are costs involved but of all the thousands of engines running around on the various roads, they cant save at least one of them?
