If you want some photography feedback, I'm no expert but am full of opinions, lol...

Nice shooting. If you did any editing enhancements it's not obvious. The first shot is crisp and very natural-looking. The framing and elements included is perfect. I like your choice to focus on the people in the second shot; a classic train-platform image (wish I would think of alternatives like that more often). The tone is wonderful in the third shot, but the grey of winter always helps with that (as opposed to the harsh light contrasts of summer). I see compression (flattening) of the subject in the third image though; is that from zooming? As much as I love having up to 300mm of zoom I hate what it does to some of my photos. I try to locate the right distance from my subject to reduce the need to use zoom or wide-angle... often hard to do around railroads, though.

Thank you, Tori! Yes there is some editing done to improve the color etc. I've been having fun messing with different special effects. I'm uploading a few more soon.

I liked the '973' at night... or was it in the fog???
Either way... I liked it.

Thanks guys! Yeah. It was almost dark, and really foggy for that shot. B&W was the only thing I could do to make anything out of it.

I also think that shot of 973 is great. B&W suits it well. And the shot right after, lots of atmosphere. Nice work, Nate! !!*ok*!!

Got some new ones, guys! Flickr has now made it impossible to direct link images, so I will be forced to manually upload them. !*don-know!*

Great shots! Looks like you've got the setup distance nailed now! Keep in mind that the closer a moving subject is to the camera, the more likely you'll need a higher shutter speed to prevent blur. Are you doing any manual control yet or just letting the camera do everything on Auto?

Thanks guys! Tori. I have the iso, and shutter speed adjusted to my liking. The only thing on auto anymore that I know of is my focus. I have some really cool non-train photo's too that I could show. Sound interesting?

It's hard to get good shots in the weather I have and the time of year, but I've been trying my best. !!*ok*!!
