Some really excellent pics there.

I especially like 2, 3 4, and 5.

What camera are you using? And lens if a reflex/SLR?

A lot of that kit is expensive as well - do you hire some of it?

Here in South Africa hire is more common for the more expensive items especially combines and the big sprayer rigs. Estates have their own.

I really appreciate the comment, Kevin. I use a Nikon D3300 with an 18-55mm lens as well as a 55-200mm lens for most of the agricultural shots.

As far as the agricultural equipment, all pieces of equipment are owned property; none were hired or rented.

Thanks for the info.

You have a good eye - keep it up......

I have always wanted to farm, and had friends who did, but here in Africa things are very different and unsettled, and politically it is risky.

In my twenties I had the opportunity to learn tobacco farming - something said no, and just as well as the farms were sized and went to ruin a couple of years later.

I have been tempted in the past to buy a couple of times but again the lack of security put me off. Too old now!

Thank you, sir !!howdy!!

Thank you for sharing your experiences as well. It is quite interesting to hear about farming in other countries, like Africa.

I sent you a PM, with some info.

You took the snow pics with a drone? Must be a useful little tool for the farm.

I'm afraid I did not receive your message. You might possibly be able to resend it. !*don-know!*

And yes, those aerial shots were taken with a drone. With all the open fields, the drone makes it quite easy to get some good shots of the action.

Ah - that's really nice!

I wanted a drone, but there are restrictions here on flying and they cost too much sadly. I wanted to try train photography with it. Use it to check the house roof etc!

----------------------------------------

Sorry about the PM - I just checked - it looks like I exited without sending and I cannot recover it via history!

I'll rewrite it later...........

Yes, the possibilities can be endless on what you decide to use the drone for.

No worries about the message. Take your time !!howdy!!

Kevin, here is a picture I took two days ago. The fields got some fertilizer sprayed down on them. Soybeans will be planted in those fields.

Things will start to get busy here soon. It is time to cut hay, and we're just waiting for everything to dry up after all this rain we've been getting.
