I was about to ask if the second unit was an steamer. !*roll-laugh*!
If I remember well, the steam locomotives were retired because they produced a great deal of air pollution. !*roll-laugh*!

A colourful lineup!

Duty engines wait for a job in the yard. 35-251 is a South African Class 35 loco - an EMD GT18C manufactured in South Africa by GM under licence. Next to it is a Class 18E locomotive in the newer Transnet Freight Rail colours.

Chased NS V07 yesterday afternoon with the Wabash on point. These four shots were taken on the Commonwealth Railway. CWRY crews took the train to the yard from the port and tied it down.

An hour or so after the CWRY crews dropped the train off, NS crews arrived and took the train to NS for the trip back to Portlock yard in Norfolk, VA. I chased him along the CWRY passed CP Murray on the NS Norfolk District.

CP H15 heads back to St. Paul as light power with an eccentric mix of locomotives. SOO 4598 is the last candy apple red SOO unit on the CP roster and has certainly seen better days. The two middle units, CP 5107 and 5109, are rebuilt SD40-3s that were released from NRE in Silvis the previous week. St. Paul MN 05/04/2018
