Reminds me of back in 1977 when British Rail (as it then was) launched the Intercity 125 service from London to Bristol. I went to a meeting near London and instead of the direct route home (Exeter) I took a ride on the IC125 to Bristol. I used the coffee test and there was hardly a ripple when we hit 125mph (and stayed there for quite awhile) and I sat near the end of the car over the truck (deliberate choice). It took me longer to get home but it was worth the thrill of the ride (I was young then!). Memories are made of this....
