False, my unions, BLET, and SMART-TD, atleast at the local and general level, are extremely devoted to taking the safe course. BNSF in my experience hasn't been too terrible atleast in my locale, in fact I would go as far to say with that aside from the exception of a couple people, our management feels the same way, and not just because it earns them a bonus.

My comment was based on what I've read on various forums and in the newspapers.
I'm glad to hear there's still room for safety before profits. I'm totally pro-union, so I'm disappointed whenever I read about a union that doesn't care about its' member's welfare.
