Denver Rio Grande and Western SW1200 #134 sits behind one of the towering grain silos of Saginaw, TX on a sunny morning. I can't believe it was still back there after reading an article about Saginaw from a 2003 Trains Magazine issue. I talked to another railfan who ran back there recently (at the time of the photo) that got some shots of it. He had a good chance to get back there when a train went by and blocked the on coming traffic...
Anyhow, I went back there and got some pictures of it. The thing looked beat up and weathered after 13 years passed by, but that is to be expected. What a wonderful pair of locomotives...
