And not to induce a riot over social injustice, but along the same lines, I stood behind a rather large lady and her rather large child the other day at the Wally World. They stood and argued with the cashier for five minutes over a missing fifty cent coupon on a pack of bologna. The cashier finally relented and reduce the price on the meat. Then out came the Food Stamp card, and ANOTHER argumement ensued because the brand of bologna was not allowed by the program. By that time, I was reaching for another snort of granite dust that I always carry with me during my trips to that particular store....
