The Denver Rio Grande & Western supposedly like to run short trains. How many cars in a consist did they consider a short train?

This is a rather varied answer. Depends on many variables.

42, 43 or 44 cars. Cool. I am thinking about doing something with the Tennessee Pass using DRG&W rolling stock. *!!thnx!!*
