I don't expect anyone to really get this one unless you know where I live, and read the paper.

If I remember correctly these two are donated by the local salt plant (yes they are restored).

The Ann Marie is a H.K Porter and was worked in the Cortez Mining operation The wood cab engine I believe is also a H.K Porter This is my best guess. **!!bang!!**

You are correct. Both engines have had a colorful history getting shipped around the west coast (and Nevada) as the narrow gauge lines were abandoned or eaten up by SP (aka NP) and converted into standard gauge. Ardenwood has a small museum dedicated to the Southern Pacific Coast railroad, which was eventually consumed by the Southern Pacific (ignore the names, they were not affiliated with each other) in 1887.
