I often reflect on this while playing Battlefield 1942.
Actually, it is often my very last thought, right before it carpet-bombs my position.

It is magnificent. When it visits our local little airport, I'm always there: http://www.abithelp.com/post14415.html#p14415. when she flies overhead (I'm in the landing pattern for Torrance) that sound is just awesome.

Got to see her and a B-24 in Oregon a few years ago. What a thrill.

Yeah, the B17, the B24, a P51 and a Messershmidt are all belong to the Collins Foundation. They tour the country, but never here. Only Aluminum Overcast. *!sad!*
