Q010 Derailment

Unread postby NS9030 » Tue Apr 10, 2012 1:31 am

The other day CSX had another two train pile up involving Q010 and a CSS coal train in the Indiana-Illinois area. Reports say both mains are blocked. 2 injuries to the crew, engineer of Q010 with a broken leg, 3 ambulamces were on the scene. At least 2500 feet of mainline gone and from pictures it looks pretty bad, locomotives are wayyyyyyyyy off the tracks and trailers are piled 40' in the air. A CSS coal train was backing into the siding and derailed in the process, Q010 came around the corner and slammed them with out time to stop. This is the second multiple train derailment on this line this year so far. Lets hope they won't have any more.

Ouch. Hope everyone comes out ok. As for the power, how bad does it look? Total loss?
