LAS VEGAS (CBS Las Vegas) — One man was arrested after attempting to change his travel plans midflight — by leaving the plane through an emergency exit.

Richard Joel Garber, 60, of Atlanta, Ga., was seated on board Delta Airlines Flight 1702 on Oct. 23 when he tried to open one of the cabin doors after the plane had reached cruising altitude, which for commercial flights can be anywhere above 30,000 feet.

I'm unclear of your intentions, but it should be pointed out that the above mentioned story is not of our beloved Rich Garber of All Aboard. Some bozo with the same first and last name of my son stole a tank in SD a few years back, which resulted in my son being placed on a no-fly list (nevermind the perp was shot and killed in the incident).

To prevent confusion and speculation among the masses, I would suggest this thread be removed.

OUR Rich is too busy with Massillon and TS2012 tweaks to be flying anywhere...

... I don't think even TS2012 issues would make one leave a flight... mid-flight.

He was researching his next route (and what better way to see a track layout than from the air),... "Hey, what's that thing right next to the track? I need a closer look. STEWARDESS, I need to get off this plane, Now!"
