I think she wasn't paying attention, idk. If you look at the video the car is going relatively slow as it approaches the train, plus its and older station wagon, I'm thinking a combo of bad brakes, old tires/old car, and not paying attention to the road ahead, tried to hit the brakes last minute and got a front full of ex DODX flatcar.
