B36-7 dual control stands?

I've always wondered about the dual control stands in the high hood B36-7s that were part of the Big 7s pack. In real life they were originally Southern units and I have always read that the Southern didn't order any units with dual controls. Can anyone confirm the Southern B36-7s had dual control stands or was it a modeling error?

According to the 1995 NS locomotive department manual I have they all were equipped bi-directional ( single ) control stands.
