Yesterday, Monday 7/29/19, I was running my third day as a student engineer. My friends Hunter and Kelly got some great pictures and video of my train as we went back to the yard in Woodland, CA. I had 3 units MU'd and 18 cars.

Oh, you work for SERA now? Keep an eye out for me. I drive a black Toyota Echo, and I use River Road to get to Sacramento sometimes. Nice job nabbing that gig.

I've been with Sierra Northern for a little over a year now. Hired on as Conductor and at about the year mark, I took my engineer's class. I'm now working all my time in the seat to make my 80 hour minimum. I'm still part-time, so it may take a little bit. But I should get to the 80 hour mark by end of August.
