Most New Yorkers have not heard of the New York & Atlantic Railway, a freight line in the middle of New York City. But the line is growing, as rail freight emerges as a viable option.

Most New Yorkers have. They took over what little freight is used on the LIRR. Manhattan is out, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island would benefit. Manhattan has the High Line which is a park(trail) now. Ask Frank,I took him there.

There was talk of building a tunnel for decades but that went no where. Floats? Forget about it.
