Couldn’t figure where else to put this but here.....
Does anybody know what the flume/sluice in the first mile or two of the mouth of Clear Creek was used for?

Ok, after more research than I care to admit, the wooden flume/sluice was called the “Welch Ditch and Flume” and was used for irrigation in the valley south of Golden.
