I just wanted to inform you about the upcoming release of "CAJON PASS: BNSF RAILWAY’S CAJON SUBDIVISION" by 7ideaproductions.

As we have this route also in Railworks, I think it's interesting to see how it looks in reality and how it has changed over the last years:
The tunnels are gone, BNSF now has a tripple track mainline.

I can really recommend 7ideaproduction videos. I have several of them and they are all great.

It's fairly accurate, however, the route is not in it's modern state. The tunnels are still there in RWs, and it's not triple tracked in the in the pass. The one thing that stands out to me is the color differences.

If I'm not mistaken, RS.com did not develop the Cajon Pass. It was developed by a 3rd party, but for the life of me, I can't remember who.

Rich Garber did the Castle Rock Railroad for RailWorks, I think it was the early RSC guys who did Cajon Pass.

Cajon Pass was initially an US version of Rail Simulator, which was also a addon to the European version. Then RailWorks came along and combined the two.

I think it was 3DTrainStuff.

3DTrain's only route was the Feather River Canyon.

3D Train Stuff started the route for Rail Simulator. It was, however, finished in-house.
