1 tornadic storm, 1 highspeed BNSF stack train, 3 warbonnets, and one blurred image. I wanted to put my camera under the wheel of the car and run over it after this.

Yeah that is one of those once in a lifetime occurrences as far as catching it on vid. I was a bit surprised BNSF kept things moving while the storm passed yesterday. It actually wound up moving along the transcon for about 20 or 30 miles and knocking out power. At that point it was cool to see all the crossover signals go to approach lighting. A few months ago we had a really windy day with the max recorded gust at 68 mph. On that particular day they stopped everything, with roughly 20 trains stacked up in 20 miles of double track. The odd part about it was they only halted trains next to each other. I'm not sure if that was a fluke or their way coming up with a better wind block to avoid problems.
