What is the attendant call button for on locomotives?

It rings an alarm bell through all consisted units. Used to wake up sleeping I mean napping crew members in the trailing unit.

Hmm, I have never seen this feature in BN units. Are these exclusive to foreign roads?

They are a feature in every single locomotive with MU capabilities.

Its fun to hold it down and freak out the other guys. Makes them think we had an engine shutdown and they start to panic especially if they were napping. !*roll-laugh*!
