Florida East Coast's (FEC) ES44C4's

Me being born from Florida, and having to railfan the FEC for a bit, and knowing that FEC will get new ES44C4's, people have finally photographed what it will really look like, so heres what they look like.

For a engine that doesn't work up here in the northwest, That engine looks amazing!

Look'n good! I like the "Champion" color scheme for the 800 series locos!

The frame on the right cracks me up. The FRA still requires an "F" to denote the front of the locomotive.

The paint scheme is a favorite of mine for railroads. FECR also plans to either convert them to natural gas or is ordering ES44's specifically for natural gas (I can't remember which) as a primary project to determine its viability as a railroad fuel in heavy operations. Should be interesting.

Reminds me of a SP daylight paint job. Very sharp indeed refreshing to see in this age of corporate boring liveries.
