My bride was cleaning out the basement and found a whole box of slides. Here's a couple. More to follow after sorting.

CSXT did not exist then I don't believe. All this stuff is going to be EJ&E Milwaukee and C&NW because that's what ran around my stomping grounds.

The quality is surprisingly good.
A few years ago these devices were crap.

I have started scanning my slides using a scanner app on my Samsung tablet.
I'm quite pleased with the results, although operation is a little awkward.

Thing ain't the handiest device I have ever worked with either, I have some that are much better than these two. I'll see if I can get some more posted tonight.

That must be the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern... I'm guessing from the orange livery.

After a little research, that appears to be a EMD rebuilt DT6-6-2000 with SW hoods. !!det!!
