"He" is one of the people that helped to get this website running and popular way back when. He left to pursue other interests a while back (but I'll bet he lurks around here once in a while *!!wink!!* )

I seem to remember a "Garber" fellow way back then, too. !*salute*! Maybe one or two more, I forget. !!jabber!!

He was the previous owner of this site. I doubt he lurks at all. He doesn't have an interest in trains if I remember correctly. I could have sworn he said as much. He even asked for his account to be deactivated after the handover. Bob can clarify if I'm wrong.

Hawk was the original founder of RWA. He started it and it was called Rail Simulator America. Then we got Railworks with the new company. And converted the name. Hawk is into trains contrary to popular belief. He has other sites, one is for MSTS. He has other railroad stuff going on as well. Hawk made the guidelines for this place. Friendly being the key word. But over the years I suppose it just got to be too much for him. Too much complaining and arguing got to him. He was not really a fan of Railworks though. Too much controversy there. Way back when we had several creative people coming here and creating stuff, but when they got PO'd at RSC about things that they thought should be the way they said it should be, it started going downhill. There was a lot of trashing and thrashing and most of those people do not come here any more by their choice or the Admins. Most of them still frequent ts.com for the obvious reasons.

I have been in touch with Hawk on several occasions. He complimented me on the site and the Learning Section and the File Library set up. All of his hard work did not go to waste. He is a good guy, one of the good people.

Yeah, +100 to that. I should also have added that, a few years back, Hawk came over to my website and helped me out with some problems I had and additions I wanted to install, because he knows the Forum software (phpBB). Even hung around for a few discussions after that. !!*ok*!!

Actually, it was Rich Garber who stared the site. I believe he handed over the keys to Ed shortly after renaming the entity from RSA to RWA.
Cheers!
