I took some nice shots today in Arizona.

The all white container train.

The pristine bridge, still in AT&SF livery! When I first found it this afternoon, I was thinking "All I need is a train on it". Poof! about 30sec later a train came around the bend onto the bridge. I almost didn't get the camera ready in time. !*roll-laugh*!

Nice shots. The all white containers reminded me of the X-Files movie and the all white tank cars.

Yeah... I've wondered who those belong to. There was actually one UPS trailer riding piggy back, but everything else was white in that intermodal.
I've seen videos on YouTube of those, but this is the first one I've seen personally.

The containers bear a number that seems to begin with "UPS"

Thanks, I didn't catch that. I looked it up and it appears you are correct, they are UPS Containers.

Ah, yes, Kingman. Been thru there many a time. Weeee! In between Needles and Flagstaff on I 40. They even have a Subway sammich shop. And gas stations. Never thought of railfanning there, I see a lot more trains thru the Banning Pass off of I 10 (and up into the hills east of Banning). There's a Dennys in Indio, CA, that the tracks run right behind. Sitting there at 1am eating and a long intermodal runs thru. The whole place shakes!

Two ways I drive to mom and dad's place in Cottonwood, AZ. I 10 to the 17 North, or I 10 to Blythe, then north to I 40 then the 17 south from Flag. Just depends if I want two lane desert hiways with some freeways thrown in, or two lane desert hiways . (or I fly to Phoenix and take a shuttle to Cottonwood)

There's lot's of nooks and crannies to railfan around Kingman. Mr Ds is across Route 66 from the mainline with plenty of action while eating. Usually...
From Mr D's you can head west on 66 about two miles and there is a beautiful little canyon, that is beautiful for picture taking in the afternoon light. There are a lot of scenic photo ops along Route 66 on the way to Seligman as well.
