Question about the Rocky Mountaineer

Unread postby ErikGorbiHamilton » Tue Aug 27, 2013 12:33 pm

Ok so i went to my first Seattle Mariners game on Sunday and as we were returning to our Soundtransit train to head back south a train passed king street with a odd paint scheme. I tried looking at it but the train was covered up by the platform roofs. we got close enough to our train to see the other and found out that the train i was seeing was the Rocky Mountaineer! Something you dont see in Washington State less alone in the Puget Sound area. So could anyone tell me, Where does the Rocky Mountaineer Run?

According to http://www.rockymountaineer.com/ the Rocky Mountaineer just started service to Seattle on the weekend of August 24-25 2013.

I'm riding the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Calgary in about two weeks. Pity that they don't have the full Seattle schedule set up yet. The train you saw was one of their "special introductory runs".
