Issue with one item in Northeast Classics - anybody else??

Unread postby ozinoz » Wed Mar 14, 2012 12:18 am

Hi,

Bought a couple of DLC's for Horseshoe Curve, one being the NorthEast Classics BM70 RPO's. One item in the set, BM70a - Robert E Hannegan; just looking at it listed in the rollingstock list seems to be enough to lock up and crash RW. The others appear fine, just this one unit. I have spoken to Thomas but we have not been able to focus in on what could be causing it because we couldn't recreate it with his beta tester. Just wondering if anybody else has bought this impressive set and had trouble with this one item and if so, how did you fix it...

!*cheers*!

I've bought the set too, and it is superb. This coach works for me exactly like the others without causing any errors or crashes.

I do have a different problem with this set myself - when viewed from the outside the coaches have no floor and when you use a low viewing angle (can't at the moment remember which it's called, the one where the camera is fixed on the ground until you pass by) the green interiors are very noticeable - you can see right inside.

This is a small problem affecting the first car in the series and is being worked on also. Currently there is a lot going on in the backshops at BLLW, but I can assure that this issue is being worked on. The other issue mentioned about the Robert E Hannegan causing lock-ups / crashes is also among the top items being investigated heavily. making this issue somewhat difficult to solve is the fact that the testing department has been unable to recreate the same conditions.

I am encouraging anyone who has these problems to please email BLLW with your system specs, and every attempt will be made to figure out a solution.

Same problem here with the Hannigan - everything else works fine. I will send my system specs to BLLW.

Ok guys, small additional request: can you guys also list if the sim is being run with TSX Mode enabled, or if its in Legacy mode? Thanks

Thanks for the heads up. Of interest, I have updated the Northeast Classics Guide (available on the BLLW webpage), and am still looking into the TSX Mode issues. !!det!!

Has anyone heard from this supplier? I paid for this as well as the PRR passenger cars, and have been unsuccessfull in getting them to work, or the passwords required?

Thanks,

Have not heard a peep from Thomas in a long while and there has been no resolution to the issues listed (mine at least) that I am aware of. Disappointing...

Hang in there or try contacting through his website if you haven't already (sorry, don't want to sound like I am trying to teach you how to suck eggs :D )

Did we ever resolve the problem with the Robert E Hannegan car (I have it too)? -I do not see one listed here or on the BLLW website. Also is there still going to be a release of The Broadway Limited Car sets -02, 03, 04, 05, etc.?
