E8 BN1 Reskin

Unread postby Peter749 » Mon Aug 17, 2015 10:44 am

Hello,

I downloaded the Britkits S04 - E8 Loco Kit and the BN E8 Reskin from the file library and used RW Utilities to install the RWP.
I then copied the Geopcdx files in to the BN1 folder but the loco does not appear on the track - just the couplings and the end gangway.

I tried the Cloneme tool but because my Railworks folder is not on the C:\ drive that did not copy any files.
At the end of the readme was a not to ask for help here :)

I must be doing something wrong but I'm not sure what. :(

Was it the freeware E8 pack? If so, can you please post how you fixed it? I need help as well.

Guys,

I have plans to release a revised version of the BN1 repaint with higher quality details and artwork, plus fixes to the flaws.
The issue was caused by several occurrences of the fittings referencing my Virginian & Ohio E8s. An easy repair is to install the VandO E8 repaint for the moment, or if good at editing, you can also manually edit the four bim files in the fittings folder. I will see what can be done about getting the reworked version released this week.
