LUA code needed.

Unread postby KCJones » Fri Mar 23, 2012 4:26 pm

I need the code for a flashing light. Well two actually. I am trying to do some ditch lights. *!!thnx!!*
I have got a light to flash for an instant, a NW2 headlight at the moment!!! I am still experimenting. I am also using the R key to initiate things as there is no radio in the NW2 though a lot of the code is still there. I Know I am not very tidy.
I have tried adapting the zza snowplough's flasher code but to no avail.
Any suggestions. The MP15 ditch lights are an animation and not too good so I though with the new lighting system LUA code would be a better approach.

Please take a look at the Y588 that Mike and I made up in the library. It has code for the ditch lights (non-flashing), however it does have code to flash the strobe lights (up on its roof).

Dick, I can't get the MP15 ditch lights to even flash for me, do you know why this could be?

It was your request that stirred me into action. The MP15 ditch lights are simple animations and have never been really satisfactory. I want to make ditch light and/or becon sets to fit all my diesel locomotives. An optional extra like my buckeye couplings.
It has been a project at the back of my mind so why not now.

For future developments watch this space !!*ok*!!

Thanks Kali. Have emailed you.
