Awesome! This might be the first locomotive I get from you. My dads side of the family is deeply rooted with the only 2-4-4-2 in the US: The "Skookum".

When I get home from school I'll post a picture and a little story maybe.

*!!thnx!!*

My grandfather Arthur Hamilton was a friend of Charlie Maslow, the one who discovered and pulled up the "Skookum" from off it's side. My grandfather made and placed these signs along the Fire Service road heading out to the "Skookum" to allow drivers to get to the work site. This is the only known survivor of these helpful signs.
This was in the mid 60's when this was going on. For those that don't know, the Skookum is the only 2-4-4-2 in the U.S.A and is one of only two in the world.

*The more you know!*

The Sumpter Valley Railway/Unitah Railway Mallet would be interesting for NG. Started out with the side tanks then when the Sumpter Valley Railway bought the pair they removed the side tanks and gave them a tender! I have a LGB model of it, it's nearly 4ft long!

I would send him a Personal Message on the forum or on his website. He's usually quick to respond by email. http://railworksamerica.com/forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=77

A small spray of paint may be in order !*roll-laugh*!
To be honest, I much prefer the all over black - the green just doesnt seem right to me

From the Oregon Scenic, where the real Skookum was returned to steam last week for the Pete Lerro charter and is now laid up for quite a few weeks due to damage caused to the valve gear.

!*cheers*!
