Looking really excellent Dick !*cheers*! This beauty's gonna get a lot of miles in, just like its real BAR counterparts!

I hate you, Dick! I wanted to make this engine.

It is looking great already. Can't wait to try it.

I notice on the picture you are using your Blomberg bogeys with the bluish photo texture.
I honestly think for the finished product you should use a better texture, such as the ones by Micheal Calvin.

Wonderful! Love the odd-balls and think one will also look great in B&M colors :-)

Richard: If you wish to use the textures I edited from photos, by all means do so.

It looks like the silver truck texture from MadMike's pack would imitate the BAR's silver trucks nicely

Don't know if it will be offered with a freeware base model, but would love to at least see it have a decent 3d cab.

Thanks for the cab pictures. They are always useful. Freeware basic unit? How many variations where there of the BL2. From my reading of the literature the prototype BL1 was basically identical to the 58 production BL2 units.

I have revisited the body shape various times to make repainting reasonably easy though the final model will be BAR blue!!!! and that IS easy. I will include my psp files with the final version. They are based on my F and E texture files though.

The pictures with the normal control stands are obviously later modifications to how the locomotive was designed. They would have the drum style control stand like depicted in the later couple J Peters posted.

Correct, there were not many differences besides a throttle mechanism. The only BL1 was in fact later converted into a BL2.
