Is there a way to make a file that you replace all the Dovetail couplings with these?

By aliasing it to a different loco buckeye xml? (Changing a path). However be careful here as you may need some dimensional adjustments.
I use a similar way to alias some of my horns (no installation whatsoever of the horn in this case). But with those there are no measurements to watch.
